Talk Bubbles

"It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood," the windows are all open with a slight breeze coming in. I can see the Canadian geese in the pond across the street swimming and sunning themselves right from my upstairs computer desk.

Too bad it will all end soon. These geese will fly south and it will be too cold to open the windows. The leaves will be gone and most of our time will be spent bagging them up and hauling them to the curb. I guess that's why it's so important to take the time to stop and appreciate these moments that seem so perfect.

There's a song I learned as a teenager "only one life, so soon it will pass - only what's done for Christ will last."
