Dorothy is where I learned my love of anything arts and crafty. I'd get home from school and she would teach me a new craft until it was time to go to bed. But I think her first love was painting. I'll tell you more about her tomorrow, show you some of her work and of course I am making a Dorothy tribute kit to share with you - all about art.
But you know I couldn't leave you empty handed for the day. So here's a sneak peek in the form of a quick page. The sentiment is a paraphrase taken from the funeral service today given by her son-in-law Duane. Just click the preview for your download.

Tomorrow - maybe - my life will be back to normal - whatever normal is. Thank you all for your kind words and comments today. That's why I appreciate you all so much and why I would give you the world if I could. So I give you my heart.

Bonnie, I'm so sorry for your loss! My Aunt is the one who is my arts and crafts roots. She's so very special to me, I'm sure in a very similar way to you and Dorothy.
The quick page is beautiful and I love that sentiment! Sending prayers and god thoughts your way.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope that you alway think kindly of your "second mom". Thanks for the goodie. I really like it. Patty
I am so sorry to hear your friend passed. You are making a lovely tribute to her every day on your blog by carrying on your love of art, that she helped you develop. Thank you for sharing it with us, she would be proud!
